Delilah & Bobby Myers
A second generation motorsports fan, Bobby fell in love with cars at a young age. From racing slot cars to visiting Charlotte Motorspeedway with his father as a child, his passion for the sport came very early.
Having been a racer himself, he always loved the art and science of engines. Always on racing crews and assisting others, Bobby started Performance Automotive in 1988 to focus his full time efforts on building engines and building his full-service machine shop.
Married to Delilah for nearly 40 years, they have two children, Michael, who is following in his father's footsteps and resides in Greeneville with his wife and two daughters. And Chastity, who resides in Franklin, Tennessee with her husband.

Michael could literally say that he cut his teeth at the race track, having grown up going to races of all types with his dad and grandfather from the time he was born. From slot cars, to remote control cars to motorcycles and dirt bikes, Michael has made many laps of his own. However, you will typically find him working on the lastest engine project coming in to Performance Automotive, as a spotter or in the pits as crew member for friends or several Performance Automotive customers.
When not building engines or at a race track, Michael is husband to wife LeAnn, an elementary school principal. His toughest and most rewarding race is that of father to daughters Michala and Olivia. They can often be found spending time together at various middle school and high school sporting events, doing any number of outdoor activities or simply going to the movies.
If you have called Performance Automotive, Delilah has mostly likely been the voice that greeted you. Delilah can most often be found ensuring your parts are ordered on time and at the best prices, tracking down hard-to-find parts for all engine types and making sure the business runs smoothly.
Bringing to Performance Automotive a career in manufacturing and quality assurance, Delilah spent 21years with Phillips-Magnavox and also holds an Associates degree in Accounting from Walters State Community College.
When not at the office, Delilah may be found landscaping, sewing or spending time with her family.
